Neil was raised in the surrounding district of Lake Bolac in western Victoria. His house is situated within 300 metres from the shores of the lake.

This historic 1875 bluestone cottage can accomodate up to 8 people. The location offers aquatic activities and fishing, an easy drive to Gariwerd-Grampians National Park, regional wineries and local towns such as Ararat, Stawell, Hamilton or the coast at Warrnambool.
